What this site is

Basement & Foundation provides general information about basement and foundation problems and a form to request a free inspection. The inspections and any repair work are performed by Acculevel under its own agreement with you. Nothing on this site is a contract for work.

Information, not advice

The pages here describe how these problems commonly behave. They are not an assessment of your house, and they are not engineering, legal or insurance advice. Conditions vary from house to house; an inspection of your property is the only way to know what is happening in it. Do not rely on this site to decide whether a structure is safe.

The inspection request

Submitting the form asks Acculevel to contact you about a free inspection. It does not commit you to anything. Any quote you receive is a separate document with its own terms, and you are free to decline it or compare it with others.

Accuracy

We try to keep the content accurate and current, and we correct errors when we find them. We make no guarantee that every statement is complete or applies to your situation.

Use of the site

Do not submit false information, submit requests on behalf of someone without their permission, or attempt to interfere with the site or its forms. Content on this site belongs to its operator and may be quoted with attribution but not copied wholesale.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator of this site is not liable for losses arising from reliance on its general content. This does not limit any liability that cannot be limited by law, and it does not affect the terms of any work agreement you sign with Acculevel.
